Today, the three principals of the business, Alison Aiello CEO, Tony Aiello MD and Gordon K Binns Sales Director, draw on a multi faceted talent base, growing the business in force and versatility. Each one contributing to the melting pot of experience and individual strengths. ABA has developed relationships far and wide and prizes a partnership with one of the finest grass cloth manufacturers in China which allows both companies to cherish the correlation between design and manufacture thus giving them the opportunity to work on acclaimed projects throughout the world.
With over 70 years experience collectively the ABA team source and develop alternative and all natural products. Design begins in the studio, often worked on by hand and developed through the imaginative collaboration of experimentation and long established methods of manufacture and techniques often resulting in the unusual.

ABA work in partnership with the plant in China creating handmade Grass Cloth wallcoverings which are traditionally hand woven, breathable and all natural. Grasses are grown and harvested mostly locally and split and hand dyed in the factory using all natural dyes. Made to the highest quality specifications using the finest grade threads and only the best quality backing papers are used to produce a quality unrivalled by other mills. We pride ourselves on a standard which is accepted and expected throughout Europe and America as well as other over seas markets.Our work force is made up of highly skilled weavers and with a modern management in place helping to make overseas trade seamless and efficient.
Our creative design takes its inspiration from the natural beauty of the city and local countryside soaking up the strength of the individuals who echo such an understanding of all things natural in its making and colouration.
